So the end of January I spent a week in London England recording the upcoming Guy Belanger album. It was one of the most incredible experiences in my musical career. We spend 4 days in the iconic Studio 2 of Abbey Road. It was a surreal experience. Walking in that room was hard to explain. Both awe and disconnect from the situation. Almost wondering if you were there or not. But once we got down to business, we did what we do well. We recorded the whole album in 4 days. With of course some fine tuning and extra parts to come. We did get to wander a bit in London, but most of the time was spent at Abbey Road. I added some pictures on my Pics page along with some video footage I captured of the band recording on my Videos tab under (Studio Videos).
It’s definitely among my biggest highlights of my musical experiences. I can’t wait for this album to come out. It should be out by the spring of this year. I will post when it does.
